Balkan Place is situated in the St Ivan district of Bansko. Value and investment potential: The apartments are designed to contain the maximum number of bedrooms and beds in the smallest area. 1-bedroom apartments are on average 60 square meters (646 square feet), 2-bedroom apartments are 80 sq m (860 square feet). Costing is by the square meter, so the prices of Studios and 1-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are lower than in any development in equivalent superb position or with so many facilities. The apartments at Balkan Place are much larger than French ski apartments.
Rental : Balkan Place is composed of 66 high-specification apartments, with rich facilities, and will function like a hotel. So it has hotel reception, lobby bar, room-service, spa centre with swimming-pool, shops, laundry service, and staff to run the facilities. This meets with the requirements of the two main markets for rental - the Tour Operators and independent holidaymakers from Sofia, and other neighbouring countries. (For this reason they have excluded fireplaces in the apartments, as Tour Operators are against fireplaces. There is a welcoming fireplace in the lobby-bar.)
