A two-hour walk is necessary to visit Montreal. The walk can last longer if you decide to stop at a Café terrace to enjoy the shadow provided by the archways. The old half-timbering houses as well as the piazza encircled by archways also contribute to give to the village most of its authentic charm. Local attractions and activities: At the foot of the village, a leisure area can be found around a small lake.

Access: Montreal du Gers is located in the North of the department at only 130 km from Toulouse. Road D29 links Eauze to Nérac. The village is situated next to the Auzoue River, at 15 km from Condom, 25 km from Barbotan les Thermes and at equal distance (60 km) from Auch, Agen and Mont Marsan. Montreal du Gers is at only one hour and a half from the sea, the mountain and the city of Lourdes. - By car: Coming from Bordeaux, take direction Toulouse to Aiguillon. There are about 50 km. - By train: Fast train stations (TGV) in Agen and Auch for other train connections. There are about 45 km to the village. - By plane: Nearest airports are the airport of Agen (45 km) then Bordeaux, Toulouse, Bayonne and Biarritz.
