Hotel Europa Apartments is a fully managed self funding luxury Apart Hotel investment with a guaranteed rental income of 10%. Hotel Europa has been running as a hotel since 1896 and is set in the High Tatra Mountains, a UNESCO protected area and world class skiing destination. Strict planning restrictions prevent new builds in this area so this historic building is being fully refurbished to a very high standard. While its heritage, quality and location within a few minutes walk from the ski slopes do add to the cost when compared to properties outside of the national park, they also add a great deal to the value of this profitable investment.
The High Tatra’s are the only mountains of Alpine character in central Europe and with an average snowfall of 1.5m (5ft) and one of the steepest slopes in Europe they attract visitors from a wide number of countries. Having hosted the 1971 World Skiing Championships and a number of other international events the skiing facilities are world class and the scenery fantastic all year round . Within walking distance of the Europa Hotel Apartments are 9 ski lifts, 7 km of slalom runs and 12km cross country runs. A short ride in the alpine tram gives access to another 24 ski lifts. The Park also has many summer activities, incorporating 600km of hiking trails and 16 maintained bike trails, which wind around the mountains, ski runs and the many mountain lakes, streams and caves. The area is easily accessible from Poprad international air port just 30 minutes away and investors area able to make use of their apartment for up to three weeks a year.
Hotel Europa Apartments are being fully refurbished to very high standard inside and out, including the instillation of a Vital World Spa and fitness centre. A management company is in place to run the Hotel and only takes a profit once investor’s mortgages have been paid. However, investors can opt out of this arrangement should they wish to. We will also re-sell each property at any time should any investor choose to sell their apartment.
A 10% deposit is payable, followed by another 10% after 6 months and the remaining balance can be mortgaged at a rate of 5.5% in Slovakia.
