The area in which they are located is a quiet residential one, only 5 mins walk into the town centre, 10 mins t the port and 10 mins again to the white sandy beaches. There is a mini supermarket only 150m away, and the town is unlike most other coastal resorts as it is thriving and full of life throughout the year, not only in the summer months.

The Area
Perros Guirec (or Perroz Gireg in Breton) is on the Cote de Granit Rose (the Pink Granite Coast) on the northernmost part of Brittany's coastline. Pink granite is in evidence all along the coast from Trégastel to Bréhat, but it is in Perros Guirec that it has been eroded into formations that are out of this world, a sort of natural theme park.
The town of Perros Guirec itself is divided into two distinct parts: the upper town on the hill and the lower marina area. There is an efficient tourist office at 21 place de l'Hotel-de-Ville (02 96 23 21 15) in the upper town. The nearest train station is at Lannion, which has rail links on to Roscoff and Brest (via Morlaix), or eastwards to St-Brieuc.
Golf
Golfing in Brittany is another major attraction. People say there is no better place for golfers than Brittany to escape the crowds and it has recently been voted as the second best place in Europe to golf simply due to the immense choice of courses on offer. North and east Brittany alone boast over 19 good golf courses.
