 Why invest in Turkey?
It is the ideal time to invest in property or land in Turkey, and even more so in the flourishing region of the Bodrum Peninsula. The thing that sets the Bodrum area apart from other Turkish vacation destinations is its architecture. A lot of the land in the region is protected and unavailable for construction. There are plans for the use of this land for golf courses, which not only means that the housing prices in the area are going to increase further, but that the seasonal resorts on the peninsula will become active all year round. Along with the prospect of Turkey joining the EU and discussions by 'no frills' airlines to start flights to Bodrum airport, means that this is a very exciting time in Turkey. The Bodrum Peninsula has been said to have the potential that Spain had 10 years ago.

The Properties
2 and 3 bedroom villas for sale on a split complex in the picturesque fishing village of Gümüslük. The 2 bedroom villas are 60 square metres not including the terrace and the 3 bedroom villas are 90 square metres. Each part of the split complex has it's own large pool, security and secure car parking facilities. Also included in the monthly management fee of £40.00, is an on site bus that you can catch from numerous positions on the site to the main road where the local buses run from or to the Gum San private beach. Fresh bread and drinking water is available for purchase on site. The site is situated in the centre of Gumusluk, with newer properties having to be built behind them as the bay itself is quite small with a lot of the land well protected. Gum San II is higher in the Bay and offers the most amazing views of the Bay. Gum San I is closer to the beach and the restaurants. Each villa is positioned to give a breathtaking view of Gümüslük Bay. The complex is just over 7 years old, the grounds are well maintained and the landscaping is mature giving the properties character. As the compex was developed before the property boom in this region, they are stylish, charming and have a lot of character. The properties need varying degrees of renovation this is reflected in the range of prices. This may involve the replacement windows, kitchen, bathrooms, plumbing and electrics. The maximum cost of renovation work would be approximately £12,700.00.   The renovation may seem like a daunting task when confronted with the language barrier, but you can either employ the services of a constuction company such as ourselves, or if you have any DIY experience, there is a B&Q superstore 11km away.
These properties offer an exciting opportuntiy for entry level investment in a rocketing house price environment. Photos show the view from the higher complex, the sunset from the higher complex. and the Gum San beach.
